Welcome to the Queenstown Ice Hockey Club

Queenstown Ice Hockey Club (QIHC) are part of the Southern Ice Hockey League (SIHL) and proud members of the New Zealand Ice Hockey Federation (NZIHF).

We offer leagues, practice sessions and learn to play ice hockey programmes for people of all ages and all skill levels, and operate out of Queenstown Ice Arena.

QIHC is made up of a diverse membership of more than 250 ice hockey fanatics with nationalities from around the world. We're passionate about growing the amazing sport of ice hockey in the Wakatipu region! With everything from learn to play classes, social leagues to national championship winning teams, we've got something for everyone.

Learn to Play Ice Hockey:
We offer free trials for our children's learn to play ice hockey programme, which takes place in terms 2 and 3 at Queenstown Ice Arena. Find out more and register for your free trial here.
